Dance Sean-nós for Beginners is the next best thing to a ‘Ronan’ workshop. Maybe you are lucky you can get sean nós classes where you live. The rest of us need to order Ronan’s DVD. Regardless of previous dance experience this DVD is a great place to start or to round out what you already know. As a mostly self-taught beginning sean nós student I like the simple instruction. The DVD boosted my confidence and encouraged me to create my own routines. Thanks for the prompt delivery too!

A natural teacher with a wonderful relaxed and humorous teaching style.....I attended improvers classes with Ronan Regan in 2005/2006. The musicality and intricacy of his footwork has continually inspired me as a dancer. My dancing is strongly influenced by his creative and fluid dance style. Ronan is a natural teacher with a wonderful relaxed and humorous teaching style. His love for sean-nós dance is infectious. Without doubt one of the finest sean-nós dancers in this country. A master of his craft.

Ronan has been teaching music to the children of the Belleek area since September, 2006.
His teaching has brought a whole new dimension to the children’s learning and has given them the opportunity to become aware of the wealth of local fiddle styles and compositions. The children have also became aware of and continue to enjoy learning the intricacies of sean-nós dance.
A successful annual festival has now developed, afforded them the opportunity to learn of the musicial style of John Joe Gordon (RIP, 2002) and gain exposure to other living legends such as Ben Lennon.
Ronan has taken the children from learners to competent and maturing fiddle players in their own right.
As well as an invaluable teacher; children, parents and the wider community now see Ronan as an intrical part of the Belleek community.
