Rónán composed this jig for a good friend and neighbour growing up, Colin McGuire around July 2009. Colin is living in Ohio in the US these days with his wife Trish and two sons and is a great photographer.  He comes home to Ireland during the Galway Arts Festival every year.

Parts 1

The first part of the tune starts on the E note and stays within the octave.  The first part of the tune presents many opportunities for playing / practicing rolls.

Parts 1 & 2 Together

Time to practice the first and second part of the tune individually before putting the full tune together.

Part 2

The second part of the tune unexpectedly goes down to the base which is challenging but adds depth / colour to the tune..  Again their are plenty of opportunities for playing your rolls.
