Intermediate Fiddle Class with Ronan Regan @ The John McGathern Centre (Every Thurs @ 7:40pm-8:30pm from 07.03.24)

Rónán's weekly intermediate fiddle class begins again @ 7:40pm-8:30pm every Thursday from March 7th, 2024 to 2nd May (Excluding Easter) in The John McGahern Centre, Cootehall, Roscommon. This group is aimed at improvers / intermediate players, for example many of the fiddle players enrolled have been part of the week long Joe Mooney Summer School with Ronan in years past.

€84 for 7 weeks from 7:40pm-8:30pm on Thursdays on 7th, 14th and 21st of March (please note no classes for Easter) - and 11th, 18th, 25th of April and 2nd of May, 2024 inclusive.

Learn tunes and techniques from the Leitrim and North Connacht repertoire as well as some of Rónán’s compositions.  Great tuition, fun atmosphere! Please note there will be a longer session every 4 weeks to facilitate us practicing and building upon our repertoire and style as a group.

About Rónán

Rónán Regan is a primary teacher, and has experience teaching children and adults of all ages.  As part of his primary teaching training and practice Rónán is up-to-date with current child protection and health and safety guidelines and is also Garda vetted.  His qualifications include a double honours psychology degree, NUIG, a primary teaching post-graduate, Canterbury Christ Church Unversity, Kent and an MA in Traditional Irish Music Performance, University Limerick.
