Rónán's weekly ‘Improvers Whistle’ Children’s and Adult’s Class (6 yrs and older) starts @ 5:30pm every Wednesday from 24.09.25 in The John McGahern Centre, Cootehall, Roscommon.

*** Please note: this is an improvers class (some experience required - minimum number of participants required for class to run)

€100 for 10 weeks from 5:30pm to 6:00pm on Wednesdays. Class commences 24.09.25 - 3.12.25 (please note no class on 29.10.25)

Learn tunes and techniques from the Roscommon/Leitrim and North Connacht repertoire as well as some of Rónán’s compositions.  Great tuition, fun atmosphere!

About Rónán

Rónán Regan is a primary teacher, and has experience teaching children and adults of all ages.  As part of his primary teaching training and practice Rónán is up-to-date with current child protection and health and safety guidelines and is also Garda vetted.  His qualifications include a double honours pyschology degree from NUIG, a primary teaching post-graduate from Canterbury Christ Church Unversity, Kent and an MA in Traditional Irish Music Performance, University Limerick.

Please note a minimum number of participants are required the a class to proceed.
